Black cohosh is a shrublike plant native to the eastern deciduous forests of North America, ranging from southern Ontario to Georgia, north to Wisconsin and west to Arkansas. The dried root and rhizome are used medicinally.
Black cohosh has been used in connection with the following conditions:
Menopause
Menstruation, painful (dysmenorrhea)
Osteoporosis
Uterine spasms
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take two (2) or three (3) capsules two times a day with meals or a glass of water. Store in a cool, dry place.
