    What is it? Saw palmetto is a plant native to North America. Typically the berries of the plant are used. In the early part of this century, saw palmetto berry tea was used for benign enlargement of the prostate gland. It was also used for chronic urinary tract infections. Some believed that the berry increased the sex drive in men, and sperm production.

    It can be used for the following concerns: benign prostatic hyperplasia.

    Suggested Dosage: As a dietary supplement, take 2 or 3 capsules two times a day with meals or a glass of water.
