Therapeutic Actions

This compound contains active alkaloids which act as strong natural antibiotics effective in the treatment of a broad spectrum of bacterial conditions. Microbials which this compound addresses directly include; Staph. spp., Strep. spp., Chlamydia spp., E. coli, Salmonella, Giardia, Trichomonas, and Candida yeast. The anti-viral properties of this compound address a broad spectrum of viral conditions including secretory viruses and retro-viruses.

Indications

This compound is indicated for the above cited microbials and viruses. At the onset of viral infection it is recommended in frequent and large doses.

It is also indicated in the treatment of the common cold and flu viruses and for infections of the lymphatic system.

It may also be used externally as a wash for wounds, cuts, and abrasions as well as for insect bites and bee stings.

Complementary Compounds

For chronic immune imbalances use with deeper-acting immune enhancers such as Compounded Astragalus, Siberian Ginseng, and Siberian Ginseng Tonic.

Uses/Dosage: At the onset of viral and bacterial infections, take an initial dose of 2-3 teaspoons of extract in a small amount of warm water every 2 hours for a maximum of 5 days.

Contradictions/Cautions: This product should not be used during pregnancy. Prolonged and large doses of Goldenseal may disturb the balance of micro-flora in the gut and the intestines. Do not use longer than two weeks in a row. Do not use if are diabetic.
