Pantethine acts at the synthesis stage in the liver to help support healthy cholesterol production. Phytosterols work in the intestines to help impede the body's ability to absorb cholesterol from foods. They also impede reabsorption of cholesterol from bile.
Recommendations: One tablet three times daily, with or immediately before each meal.
Ingredients per Tablet:
- Sodium 10 mg
- Proprietary Phytosterol Blend 400 mg
- Pantethine 200 mg
Other Ingredients: cellulose, modified cellulose gum, modified cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, lecithin, and carnauba wax.
Contains No: sugar, yeast, wheat, gluten, dairy products, artificial coloring, artificial flavoring, preservatives and ingredients of animal origin. This product contains natural ingredients; color variations are normal.
Notes: You get cholesterol from your diet and your body produces it. Cholesterol in the diet is found only in animal-derived foods (meat, milk, eggs, poultry, etc.). So, there are two ways you can retain healthy cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range: change your diet and/or influence your body's healthy cholesterol-making activity.
