Smooth is soothing and light on the skin, developed to minimize the irritation men typically experience after shaving. Shea butter, pumpkin seed oil, blue malva, green tea, grape seed extract, beta-carotene and astaxanthin provide nourishing and antioxidant skin nutrition.
Directions: Apply dime size to face and neck after cleansing or shaving.
Ingredients:
- aqua:
Distilled water.
- caprylic/capric triglyceride:
Emollient, has good spreading properties, promotes penetration and pigment dispersions. From coconut oil.
- caprylate/caprate:
A moisturizing agent derived from coconut milk.
- sucrose stearate:
A combination of sucrose and stearic acid. Stearic acid occurs naturally in butter acids, and cascarilla bark. Acts as a lubricant.
- cetearyl alcohol:
An emulsifying and stabilizing wax produced from the reduction of plant oils and natural waxes. Also an emollient giving viscosity to a finished product.
- glyceryl stearate:
An emulsifier that assists in forming neutral, stable emulsions. It is also a solvent, humectant, and consistency regulator in water-in-oil and oil-in-water formulations. Plant source.
- olive oil:
Great carrier oil with excellent lubricating qualities.
- shea butter:
A moisturizing, soothing emollient fat with cellular renewal properties from the fat of the karite nut tree.
- pumpkin seed oil:
Excellent source of minerals, especially zinc. It helps skin renew as it moisturizes. Essential fatty acids help regulate sebum production.
- L-chlorophyll:
Green coloring, soothing, healing, antiseptic, antifungal, odor absorbing abilities/mild deodorizing, antioxidant, antibacterial.
- lycopene extract:
Powerful antioxidant, anti-carcinogenic; enhances communications between cells in the organs and tissues.
- green tea extract:
Powerful antioxidant, bacteriostatic (an agent that causes inhibition of the growth of bacteria without destructuction), soothing, nutritional qualities and increases the effect of sunscreens. Also prevents irritation of the skin caused by glycolic acid.
- grape seed extract:
Counter-irritant with soothing anti-bacterial properties.
- ginseng extract:
Healing properties, helps increase circulation.
- blue malva essential oil:
Anti-inflammatory, humectant.
- astaxanthin:
Enhances immune response and reduces inflammation. From the micro algae H. pluvialis, grown in Hawaii.
- sandalwood essential oil:
Calming, harmonizing, and balancing effect. Acting like deep, slow waves. It embraces emotions with a warm, woody fragrance.
- vanilla essential oil:
Soothing, calming, relaxing.
- patchouli essential oil:
Balances oily/acne skin. Also heals cracked dry hands and feet.
- D-beta glucosamine:
This amino sugar is a component of hyaluronic acid, one of the glycosaminoglycans (polysaccharide chains) that make up the extra cellular matrix (ground substance) of the dermis which contains elastin and collagen. These compounds bind water and are involved in the maintenance of the water and salt balance of the skin. The epidermis in tighter alignment with the dermis. From Chinese Foxglove, grain and lichen.
- D-beta fructan:
Chains of glucose molecules from date palm that boost immunity of the skin and build moisture.
